In a very short time, RS India Wind Energy Pvt. Ltd. is to give India her largest single integrated Wind Energy Farm. RS India Group has given a fresh impetus to the whole concept of renewable energy harnessing systems. These systems are now our major area of activity and specialization. This evolution was instituted identifying the enormous need and scope for alternative energy generation sources in the Indian sub-continent and world over.

The crowning glory of RS India’s success is due to the active guidance of its experienced and able Board of Directors. It is no wonder that the most prestigious project for the largest integrated Wind-Energy System of India (300 MW) is being launched by RS India. Initially in the first phase, 100 MW is being established in which PTC India Financial Service Ltd. is our equity partner, contributing 54 crores, while Power Finance Corporation (PFC), a Government of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Finance has provided lease finance of 487 crores (US$ 122 million).

The project is unique and composite, comprising of wind energy, solar power and Jatropha (known as "Ratanjyot" in India) plantation for production of Biodiesel. Faced with the challenges of proper utilization and optimal management of Wasteland, RS India has successfully developed a unique and composite model of 3-in-1 project (Solar, Wind and Biodiesel), which has no parallel worldwide.
